Biography
Justin grew up in Beechworth until the age of 16, when he ran off to study electronics in the RAAF. After leaving the RAAF, Justin returned to school and completed VCE. During VCE, he ran as an independent candidate in the Victorian State Election for a Yr 12 project.
Justin resumed his electronics training at RMIT after high school and started a career in electronics as a mobile phone technician. A natural at problem solving, he was well suited to a role as a Project Manager in a CCTV security firm where he stayed for 7-years.
Upon meeting Rachelle, he became a key player at NutriSoil, whom he represented at countless events over 13years. He set up logistical processes and sent the vermiculture product Australia-wide. Justin helped Rachelle guide the business into an award-winning ethical enterprise, ultimately achieving B-Corp certification and Australian Organic Product of the Year.
Justin’s passion is mountain biking and in pursuit of adventure, Justin has raced mountain bikes all over Australia and the US. He was a founding member of the Victorian Downhill Mountain-Bike Series in 2006. He enjoys coaching people to ride mountain bikes with The Fastline Bike Academy and is an active committee member with the Albury-Wodonga Mountain-Bike Club.
Justin loves connecting farmers to education and coaching. He enjoys identifying their needs and helping them shift to regenerative farming practices. Justin’s top values are Family, Fairness and Being your Best.
